We want to come to you this evening to share with heavy hearts that we received difficult news again today resulting from Miriam's scan last week and to ask that you continue in your prayers for her. The scan has indicated that there is a recurrence of the cancer in Miriam's hip, causing her quite a bit of pain and discomfort. As well, there are confirmed spots on her lungs that have grown since the last scan was done. At this point there isn't any suggestion of additional treatment, but we will let you know if we get more information.
We will try to update the blog over the next few days if there is any more information we can share.

Thank you so much for continuing to pray for Miriam. We are in this together with all of you and know that God continues to be our Rock and Shelter. He is sovereign and we choose to trust Him and place our hope in Him. Mom reminded us again tonight that Miriam is in the hands of the Great Physician! What a comfort that is!

I don't know what to say.
ReplyDeleteIn Psalm 91 I find words of strength and comfort to share. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust".
We appreciate knowing what you all know even when it sounds so wrong. We continue to pray for healing and leave the HOW in God's domain.
